Product Description
Ferrosilicon furnace pressure ring, used in submerged arc furnace, also known as electric arc furnace or resistance furnace. Mainly used for reduction and smelting of ore, carbonaceous reducing agent, solvent and other raw materials. It is mainly used in the production of ferrosilicon, ferromanganese, ferrochromium, ferrotungsten, ferrosilicon and other ferroalloys. It is an important industrial equipment and calcium carbide and other mechanical equipment in the metallurgical industry. So, how does the pressure ring work?
The electrode holder system is the core component of the submerged arc furnace. The structure of the electrode holder system directly affects the operation reliability and various I parameters of the submerged arc furnace, and also affects the smelting index of the submerged arc furnace. For the holding device that generally adopts the conductive copper structure, the pressure ring that holds the copper tile becomes the key component of the electrode holder system, so the pressure ring plays a pivotal role in the electrode holder system of the copper tile structure. The holder has a structure, the principle of which is to apply vertical pressure to the copper tile through the pressure device, so that the copper tile and the electrode are in close contact. The early force ring is a large bolt structure, and the tightening force of the pressure ring on the copper tile is adjusted by rotating the bolt. The bellows pressure ring can ensure the close contact between the copper tile and the electrode. Corrugated pipes are installed inside the position corresponding to each copper tile, and the elongation and shortening of the bellows are controlled by hydraulic pressure to clamp or loosen the copper tiles. Since the pressure of each copper tile can be adjusted separately, the force acting on each copper tile is relatively uniform, the structure is simple, and the maintenance is convenient.
The above is the working principle of the pressure ring. Its working characteristics are that it uses carbon or magnesium refractory materials as the furnace lining and uses self-cultivation electrodes. The electrode is inserted into the charge for submerged arc operation, using the energy and current of the arc to pass through the charge, and generating energy due to the resistance of the charge to smelt metal.
